FAQs

Find answers to common questions about Miers sauna rituals, cold plunges, and memberships. Learn what to bring, how to prepare, and how to make the most of your experience.

What to Expect

What it feels like, what to expect, how it all works.

What should I bring?
  • Two towels: one for sauna, one to dry off
  • Swimwear: mandatory for all sessions
  • Water bottle: stay hydrated (water + electrolytes available on-site)
  • Lock: for securing your locker
  • Slippers: for comfort between sauna and plunges
How long is a session?

A full Miers ritual is 75 minutes long. It follows a three-round structure: Sauna (12–15 min), cold plunge & rest (up to 10 min). Our facilitator manages the timing so you can focus on your wellness.

How big is your sauna?

Our sauna is built for connection! It fits up to 45 people, so expect around 25+ during each session. Enough energy to feel alive, yet still space to breathe.

What if I’ve never done sauna or cold plunge before?

No problem at all. A lot of people who come to Miers are trying it for the first time. Our facilitators guide you through every step, from heat to ice, so you always know what to do and when to rest. You’ll ease into it at your own pace.

What if I feel light-headed or need a break?

Listen to your body. That’s part of the practice. You can step out anytime, cool down, drink water, or rest. Our facilitators are always nearby to check in and guide you if needed.

Can I come alone?

Yes and honestly, that’s often the best way. You’ll meet others, move through the ritual together, and leave feeling lighter. The heat connects people fast.

Are there mixed-gender sessions?

Yes. Our sessions bring everyone together. That’s part of the experience. It’s social, respectful, and always guided so the space feels good for everyone. Just remember: Miers works because people respect our community rules and each other.
